History
Angelo Falato, the son of a restaurant family from Rome, traveled to Colombia, Venezuela and Guatemala before finally settling in Los Angeles where he opened a broasted chicken restaurant. The original Ameci Italian Cuisine started in New York City in 1931.
Nicola (Nick) Andrisano grew up working in his father’s restaurant; and in 1983, he partnered with Angelo Falato to open Ameci Pizza.
In 1983, they opened their 3rd location, and in 1984, they opened the first Ameci Pizza and Pasta.
